Preprofessional Ballet

Our 2023 Ballet Production: The Messiah

About the Program

Our Preprofessional Ballet Program invites dedicated ballerinas looking to hone their skill and pursue ballet at a professional level. This program requires ballet twice a week for Levels A1-B3 and three times per week for C1-E3. Dancers will be invited to Pre-Pointe and Pointe by the discretion of the studio owner, Kristina Robison.

Please contact our administrator at moc.yrotavresnocecarg@ofni to arrange a Ballet Assessment for placement.

Why Grace Conservatory?

Many ballet schools and companies value only ballet technique, but at Grace Conservatory, we value the strength and confidence of a ballerina. We will not place a dancer en pointe who is not mentally or physically ready. Finally, we are committed to building confident ballerinas who do not suffer from body image issues that often are a result of harsh, antiquated ballet training.

Instructor Experience

All of our lead ballet instructors have Masters Degrees and/or BFA’s in ballet. Many have taught at the collegiate level, and all have taught in professional ballet companies. Our ballet instructors have trained with the Bolshoi, John Cranko School, Matsuyama Ballet Company, the Savannah Ballet, the Academie de Danse Classique Princess Grace in Monaco, the American Ballet Theatre, the Urdang Academy in London, and with Finis Jhung. Our Ballet Director is certified in Levels A-C in Vaganova Technique to teach levels 1-8 by the Russian American Foundation. Many of our instructors also are certified by the American Ballet Theater (ABT) and in Progressive Ballet Technique (PBT).

Our ballet instructors have performed with The Metropolitan Opera in New York, Joffrey Ballet of Chicago, Göteborg Ballet in Sweden, RIVA Ballet, Savannah Ballet, Milwaukee Ballet, Merce Cunningham Dance Company, Ballet international Eldar Aliev, Ballet Metropolitano in Caracas, Ballet Chicago, the Matsuyama Ballet Company in Japan, the European Ballet Company in the UK, the Shiki Theater Company in Japan, and Stuttgart Ballet in Germany.
